CAMPUS PIZZA F.A.Q
Getting Here
Q. Where do I park?
A. Campus Pizza has FREE parking for you accessible off Ontario St. S.E. For carryout pickup, park in one of the two spots directly behind Stadium Village Mall. For dine in parking, park in one of the spots in the lot across the street from Stadium Village Mall (behind Hong Kong Noodles). If our spots are full, there is plenty of on street metered parking around the building or you can park in the Oak St. Ramp less than a block away. This YouTube clips shows you our parking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBHh07qp0WM
Q. Where exactly are you located?
A. We’re located at 825 Washington Ave S.E., a block south of the new TCF Bank Stadium. For custom directions using GoogleMaps, visit http://www.campuspizza.com/location.php
Q. I went to Campus Pizza and it seems to be gone. What happened?
A. You’re probably at our old location at 818 Washington Ave. S.E. Turn around and look across the street. We relocated to 825 Washington Ave. S.E. in 2009. 818 is currently under construction.
Ordering
Q. Do you deliver?
A. Campus Pizza has teamed up with Restaurant Connection to offer delivery. To place an order for delivery, please visit http://www.campuspizza.com/delivery For business and institutional catering, please call us directly at 612-378-2417.
Q. I don’t have a lot of time for lunch or dinner. Can I call in my order ahead of time?
A. Yes. We recommend calling us about 15-20 minutes before you plan to arrive. If you have a busy day ahead of you, go ahead and call us in the morning. We’ll have your food ready for you when you arrive.
Q. How many people does a large serve?
A. We’ve seen football players put away an entire large on their own, but typically our large 15″ size pizza serves 2-4 people. If you are ordering for adults with average appetites we estimate that a large pizza will serve 3 people.
Dining In
Q. Do you take reservations?
A. You don’t need a reservation when you dine with us. We do take reservations for groups of 6 or more and appreciate the advanced notice so we can prepare for your arrival. Special Note: On Gopher Football, Men’s Basketball, and Men’s Hockey game days we are especially busy and unfortunately are unable to take reservations during those events.
Q. What time does the kitchen close?
A. Our kitchen is open until Midnight every day of the week.
Q. I’m under 21 and you have a bar. Can I dine-in?
A. YES! Persons under the age of 21 ARE welcome to dine in with us anytime we’re open provided they are seated at a table and not at the bar.
Our Food
Q. Do you have pizza by the slice?
A. Why have a slice that’s been sitting in a warmer for who knows how long when you can have your own hot, fresh personal 9″ pizza in minutes.
Q. I’m craving white pizza. Can you make that?
A. Sure! It’s not on the menu, but we can make white pizza. Just ask!
Q. What is the Amidon Cut?
A. The Amidon Cut is one extra vertical and horizontal cut on the pizza. Some people prefer smaller squares.
Q. What are Italian Fries?
A. Italian Fries are our version of cheesesticks. We bake garlic and mozzarella atop a pizza crust and cut these fries into small strips perfect for dipping into our maranara sauce. Try an order today, you won’t be disappointed!
Q. Do you use canned or fresh mushrooms?
A. Fresh, although we keep a can on hand just in case of emergency! Same thing with our Jalapeno Peppers.
Q. Do you folks add sugar to your pizza?
A. No! Some places out add there add tons of sugar to their pizza sauce and dough. We do not. We’d rather let the flavor of our sauces and crust speak for themselves rather then disguise it behind all the empty calories in sugar and high fructose corn syrup. The only sauce with sugar in it is BBQ sauce used on our BBQ wings and BBQ style pizzas.
